Do I need an armored car in Rio de Janeiro?
An executive transport company has every incentive to answer yes. The useful answer is a different one — and it depends on your profile, not on the address.
Short answer
For most visitors, no. Tourists and executives on an ordinary schedule travel safely in a conventional executive vehicle, particularly along the expressways linking the airports, the South Zone and Barra da Tijuca. Does an armored car attract more attention?

Can I decide on the category later?
